To have some previous experience in high mountains will make you really appreciate this trip. We walk around 7 hours per day, at an altitude of between 1,300m and 3,000m, and the daily slopes are around 1,100m. The pace is calm but going on for quiete a long period and the climbs are heavy in some sections. The temperature varies very significantly since it is affected by altitude. It can rain and lower the temperature drastically. It is important to bring warm clothes.
The order and content of the described program may vary and be altered according to the guide's criteria and depending on the weather forecasts, for organizational reasons and for the physical condition and pace of the group. On the routes of day 4, 5 and 6, there are some airy passages wich are perfectly secured, but might be a problem for people with fear of hights.
We collaborate with the Spanish agency Trekking y Avventura and Pathfindertravels from Sweden, please contact them if you need support to manage your plane tickets to the Tyrol.
