Day 5

on the border ridge towards south and Enzianhütte

After a night at over 2.600m above sea level and a good breakfast with a view we walk on the ridge that separates Italy from Austria (former military road) to the south. We climb the picturesque Wolfendorngipfel and descend to the Enzian hut. Near this point the minibus takes us back to Obernberg.
