Dolomite like peaks and Tribulaun Hütte

Let´s start the day with a good breakfast and take the public bus from the hotel to the end of valley. After 15 min the hike up to Tribulaunhütte will start at the beautiful Sandes Waterfall. 

The tour will lead you over Garklerin Pass, the highest point of the day, at 2303m with stunning views over the Gschnitztal glacier and highest Peaks of Habicht.  Then you enter the small Sandes Valley towards the Tribulaun Hütte with the impressive dolomite like Tribulaun peaks in the back. The hut offers very good and affordable tyrolian food, cakes and drink. 

For those of you wanting to climb one of this peaks, Gschnitzer Tribulaun (2.946 m) can be reached in a day tour, clearly a black tour and only recommendable for hikers with alpine experience and in good physical condition. Same Starting point, same Mid point and same return. 

A big day for all. Return with the public bus.
