MOUNTAIN LAKE LICHTSEE & RÖTENSPITZE

This rather easy hike on the ridge to the mountain lake of Lichtsee is ideal for a not too windy day. You can choose to walk up or take the help of the gondola from the neigbouring village Steinach. Once up you will have a very scenic walk with a dip in the not too cold mountain lake waiting. From there you can hike up the 380 hm to the peak of Rötenspitze (2.480 m) or directly descent over wide spread pastures and alpine forests back down to the home village of Trins. The cable car and local transport to Steinach are included.
